Have you ever kissed cold paper,
Hot tears running down your face,
Their arms strained and stretched wide to hug, hold, offer what little comfort they have as they slip down the cliff wall of your cheek?
Hug back.
Worry about them for a change.
For life as a tear must be grim,
To offer oft unrecognized and unappreciated comfort only to fall to your death and be remembered
(if at all)
with scorn by the blurring of ink and puckering of paper left by your slow evaporating demise.
Perhaps thats why God gave tears salt;
A stout, savory core with which to combat such loneliness.
Have you ever noticed how lonely the upside down world seems to be?
I still love to holiday there.
If clouds were concrete, it would be like treading on memory foam all day.
Clouds cry too.
Do they
pay
the proper respect to tears?
I shall have to cry upside down next time,
Let the tears slide through my hair and along my scalp--
A change of scenery,
You know?

Nice poems, and interesting questions. But it somehow made me sad. :-|
